Hi, I'm Seán Reiser, a Flushing, Queens, NY based technologist specializing in architecting web solutions using Drupal.
I am an information technologist with over 30 years experience in desktop and website application development. Over the past 16 years I’ve been a Drupalist: building, supporting, managing, and maintaining over 150 websites for Non-Profits, Small Businesses, Digital Agencies, Media Companies and Startups.
As a Drupalist, I assume a number of roles in my work including: Project Manager, Web Producer, Strategist, Architect, Developer, Themer, Data Architect, Site Builder, and Support Engineer for projects featuring Drupal websites. I am proficient in leading internal or external development teams, liaising with contractors and managing client relationships.

I was initially engaged by Markle to resolve some website performance issues. The engagement was extended as I led their migration from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7 and was the lead technical resource for all their web properties.
Rearchitected and converted markle.org from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7.
Migrated site to Pantheon’s Drupal cloud hosting service to improve performance and site reliability while reducing costs.
Served as liaison between Markle and their design partner.
Prepared periodic analytics and performance reports for C-level executives and made recommendations to improve the reach of Markle web properties.
Assisted Markle’s communications team in developing and realizing a new content strategy to effectively communicate Markle’s mission, programs and impact.

Advised “C level” executives at Enfatico and Enfatico’s parent company, WPP, on the use and position of Social Media and Networking properties
Designed and developed a capital expenditure system in C#.NET, using Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2005. This product included tracking of management and finance approvals of capital expenditures for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance purposes
Implemented a blog, staff directory and wiki based on Drupal 6.0 for internal and client facing collaboration. The Markle Foundation
The Markle Foundation is a New York City based non-profit foundation that works to realize the potential of information technology to address previously intractable public problems for the economic security, health, and national security of all Americans. I upgraded their website to a more modern version of Drupal and resolved issues related to security, performance and scalability. A new fresh design was implemented giving the site a more modern look and feel.
